uncomfortable saddle

Hi used my new saddle for the first time today. It is a Marshall Poley stock saddle. The stirrup buckles dig in severely. Is there anything you can do to make it more comfortable?

I had this problem with the aussie saddle that I had for a while. Can you try conditioning and oiling the leather? That might help soften it up and make it less "pokey."

Are the stirrup buckles under your thigh? If so, run them down so they're below your knee, if you can. If you can't, you might consider using bottom adjust English leather instead, like Wintec Webbers or Bates Webbers.

VPG, please use punctuation. I don't really understand your question. Also, you should start your own thread.
