Velcro Bridle?

Has anyone used a velcro bridle before? I'm debating on getting this set from an Etsy seller... what do you guys think? I'd get the matching clip-on reins as well..

Well I wouldn't use one, though they're probably okay for messing about if you want to keep your leather for best.

I'd have thought they're probably imprecise, fit-wise, the most difficult thing being to get both cheeks the same length. But that's just an impression as I've never seen one in real life.

Colourful, though :)

They look pretty nicely made. It seems so simple to me, being an english rider, I feel like it needs a cheek strap at least or maybe a noseband! ;) I feel like it could just pop right off if the horse stretched down to itch it's front legs, but I guess that's how some western bridles are

Those are neat. I would use one but I'd have them put a throught latch on.

I don't know, I'd be worried about security and long term wear. How heavy duty is that velcro, will it stick if I get into a fight with a horse...and how many times can you undo it before it starts to get mushy and un-sticky?
COWCHICK77, SueNH and morganarab94 like this.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog:

The pictured horse looks embarrassed.
The brow band looks too small & is pulling the headstall forward. It seems like a few good head shakes or rubs would pull it right off.
I'd pass

Thanks all!
