Warmblood or draft size bridle for Bert

Bert is currently using my oldest and best loved bridle, but I have to be honest and say it doesn't really fit her that well. The main problem is the browband, which is 16" and the longest one I have here, but I think it's pulling the headpiece to tight up on her ears, so I am going to be buying her a new (another) bridle, seeing as I have an aversion to new tack, I'll probably be looking for a used one, but what size will I need?

I've looked at lots of ads but they never give measurements, how do I know if I need, full, warmblood, or draft size?

What size halter does Bert wear?

I ask because Aires' head is too big for a large halter (but too small for a draft) and our bridle is warmblood size. Not sure if there's a correlation between halter size and bridle size, but that's our experience with bridles. Lol He has a little room to grow in his current bridle, but I'll probably have to get him another bridle in the next 9-12 months or so.

I've got Hugo wearing standard horse stuff right now. Draft sizes swallow him. After the string test this weekend, I might have some tack to sell in a year or so...lordy, he's going to be a big 'un.

I think Bert is in a large halter, rather than a draft, but to be honest it's so long since I put anything but a rope halter on her I'm not sure.

I'm thinking maybe XL or Warmblood may do.

I'm thinking warmblood will be just fine. That's what I have Peanut in and its actually on the verge of being too big..

What about over sized bridles... I have never seen the "warmblood" label for bridles, nor draft now that I think about it.

I really like that bridle, GH. Where are you getting it from?
