washing a foam half pad

I need to wash my fabric covered half-pad. It has foam on the inside with inserts as well. I was thinking I could just remove the inserts and then spray it down using my shower and hanging it to dry. Would this damage it in anyway or is there a better way to go about washing it?

Okay thanks, It has instructions on the tag but I don't understand the symbols at all, just the drying instructions. LOL that's what I get for being 16...
