Western Barrel Racing Saddles

Can anyone tell me if there are good comparable saddles for Circle Y, Billy Cook and/or Tucker that are less expensive? I'm looking for a good brand of saddle that will be used mainly for trail riding. Thank you.

The only leather saddle company I can think of is Corriente. With saddles you usually get what you pay for. If you want you can also look in to synthetic like Abetta or Wintec.

Don't buy a new one. You can always find a higher quality used saddle versus new at the same price.

Corriente's are nice saddles. They're well made for the price. Triple creek makes a nice "gold series" saddle for around $850 and they can be customized. There is also Tex Tan, or the Hereford brand. Courts, Pro Rider, Martin, Coats, and Double J are also very nice and well made saddles.

If you've got a price point of $500-$1000, you could find any of these brands for sale with enough digging around. More than likely, most if not all will be used but hey, who actually likes having to break in a new saddle?
