    Western Pads

Hi! Just wondering if your using a pad, and a western blanket, what type of pad should you use? I want a good quality pad, but like the convenience of washing the blanket and the colour choices. So I guess what's the best quality material for the under pad? Oh and I mainly trail ride! Thanks

Diamond wool felt pads are pretty standard for underpads around here. They are affordable, but still really good quality.

I probably second what smrobs said. Especially if your going to cover it up, and don't want designs on the saddle pad its self :)

The thick Wool Pads are great, I have seen them used many times and they are pretty great. I also use a SMX Air Rider pad is what I use and I really like it, The rest of my horse can be sweaty all over, and under his saddle isnt sweaty at all. I really love it! Plus it comes in great colors like giraffe and tie dye!
