Western Saddle Fitters in Alberta

I was wondering if anyone knows of western saddle fitters in Alberta? We've been trying so many saddles and pad combinations on my boy and nothing seems to work, he either comes up sore on his back, or there's dry spots, etc. He has a very hard back to fit, but it's deceiving and looks easier than it is.

any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks so much

Look up:

Eamore saddle makers - Strathmore I think?

Rusty Wallace - Willow creek saddles (very very good saddle maker) South of Calgary I believe?

Vic Bennet - Edmonton - I own one of his saddles, hand made, excellent maker.

All these guys have their own style of tree size so they are all different and do custom fitting. I had called Eamore before I got my Vic Bennet and they can make you a custom fitted saddle (basic, no bling) for around $1500-$2000.

A rawhide covered tree usually offers a better fit than a Ralide and is not as rigid as the Ralide.

Thanks for the responses, the saddle that I've been riding in (that looked as if it was working the best) is a rawhide covered tree, not a ralide, but it was the first that caused significant sore-ness in his back after a few weeks of consistent riding.

I'm looking into eamore's, but am wary about buying custom... just worried that his back may change with time, age and work levels (he's 9 now, and this is his first year in real, full-time work), and then i'll be left with a custom saddle that doesn't fit anything. sigh. haha.

Eamors was in High River but they have shut down. In my personal experience, the best to call for saddle fitting is Maureen from Western Specialties....
