Its hard to keep weight on mine. He does well with alfalfa and senior feed, but for a boost when he really needed it I used to give him half a cup of corn oil in his grain.

Step one: Mount horse. Step two: Stay mounted.

he has gained about 150 already.He was rode the first week we got him but only short time

Seriously, why are you risk his health and comfort by riding him before he is at a healthy weight again? He won't forget any training if you give him time to recover. Give him some more time off, then find a properly fitting saddle. Riding him while he is underweight is selfish of you.
