Hi guys sorry for being slow to respond, but being kept a little busy by 4 little Border Collie monsters. They're a month old and by their very cute nature take up a lot of time.
My budget is yet to be determined. I'm hoping to buy a trail horse and then a saddle, but not finding anything in my budget as for horse, so maybe I'll just stick to training my saddler x gelding and rather spend the horses' money on the saddle. I've been doing some research and right now I'm kinda teeter tottering between a ranch saddle or a cutting saddle.I saw a nice looking King seriers crossfire rancher saddle - any reviews please? Otherwise in seems to be the wade type saddles, I'm not overloy fond of their look for some reason, but if they're my best choice... I'd rather save and buy a great lifetime saddle, than a second rate, cheaper saddle. I currently own adn ride in a Trident Trail Ranger, bought it eight yrs ago when I moved to the farm, but looking for a more "western looking" saddle. Just something I've always wanted.
Thanks for all the ideas, I live in South Africa so unfortunately my choices aren't as varied as if I lived in America.
