what color goes well with dun?

My new horse is a red dun. If I ever get some extra dollars to spend on horse blankets etc. does any one suggest what color compliments his coloring? Thanks

Do you have pictures? There are different shades of red dun so it's hard to tell with out seeing him

I would say royal blue. Even without seeing pictures, that color goes with most horses.

Thanks, I never would have thought of those colors. Especially hunter green but I like it alot. He is only 14.1 hands and a lazier type personality. I am quite the timid rider so I think we will be a good match.

Wow! He's really pretty!

I personally really like the color of the halter he has on in the pics. I would probably stick to that tan color and maybe some hunter green and/or sage green too.

Here's some of the stuff I would pick out for him...

Blankets, sheets, coolers, etc. I'm just going to give a whole bunch that I think would look nice on him.

LOVE this blanket, it would look stunning on him and also comes in heavy weight and light weight.
Rhino Original Medium Turnout Blanket - Dover Saddlery

This in the hunter/natural would look cool and is great for after rides in the winter when he gets sweaty.
Irish Knit Anti-Sweat Horse Sheet - Natural/Hunter - Dover Saddlery

I think this one in the olive/sage two tone would look good on him
WB Landa Original MW Reg Neck T/O Blan and Mid Weight Turnout Horse Blankets*|*EQUESTRIAN COLLECTIONS.COM

This would look really handsome on him.
PC Canvas Duck Blanket and Light Weight Turnout Horse Blankets*|*EQUESTRIAN COLLECTIONS.COM

Halters
This one is cool with the hunter and brown leather.
Dover Web Halter - Dover Saddlery

In the green/tan diamond.
Flex Rider Padded Safety Halter - Dover Saddlery

In hunter/tan.
Rope Halter - Miller Harness...

If there's something that you really like or if you want me to look at anything in particular just let me know. I love looking for matching horse stuff.
