Hilason or any other brand is wort a try before condemning

I sure do not work for Hilason but these kind of negative remarks make me feel that you might be working for one of their competitors or have a personal grudge against them and would do anything to defame them, even if that involves hurting other people's interest.

Good luck!

Bitfree, do you work for Hilason? Your posts are quite fishy.

Just a few reviews I found

Hilason saddles are pieces of crud.
My friend bought a Hilason trick saddle, was doing a fender, and the horn broke clean off... sending her dragging into the rail with short term memory loss.
Another friend of mine broke 3 trees on Hilasons in a month.

Hilason is terrible quality. Do not buy their saddles or saddle pads. The company, as a whole, is very disreputable. I know several people who have been totally scammed and ripped off by these people. They got me for a saddle pad and I never got my money back. Their products are very poorly made. If I had used that saddle pad, it would have cut my horse's back. Avoid these products and this company

My friend ordered one and it was the biggest peice of crap I had ever seen. The leather was a joke she sent it right back and bought a used Bob Marshall. Don't do it.

Bitfree,

We arent trying to hurt them but im a trick rider , I use WSP trick saddles and I know how dangerous trick riding is, I say all of this to keep new trick riders looking for a cheap saddle from buying thi trying to learn getting hurt and never getting to trick ride again, there is no such thing as a cheap trick saddle, WSP brown trick saddles are 1500, white is 1800 and white padded is 2795. So I think people need to be warned before someone gets hurt!

Read what almost about 10,000 people are saying and that is surely against what you have to say.

eBay Feedback Profile for leathergem

I am sure 10,000 people would not be wrong or liars.

All reviews are on accesories or rugs or bridles maybe a few saddles and the first saddle review was negative. Alot of items are dog collars and dog harnesses. You failed to mention that.even customers claim to be getting ripped off they send money and hilason doesnt even have item then they blame it on ebay.

As a saddlemaker I'd like to say that there are many hidden areas whereby one can reduce the quality. Because of the strain a trick saddle gets one would want one with the quality of a top notch roping saddle made by one of the reputable American companies or a saddlemaker with experience. I'm thinking be prepared to pay $3000 or thereabouts. Regardless of color the saddle will look good. Something a lot of people wouldn't even think about is how the leather is tanned. In the US Wickett and Craig puts out top notch saddle leather. Tannage can made a big difference.

I suppose anyone who is not saddle savy would rate a Hilason as a ok saddle but the feedback profile you have is not for a person who just sells Hilason saddles. He sells things that are not leather also...

JMHO if I am putting something on my horse that is going to be comfortable and safe for both of us, you better believe it is going to be good leather and high quality.

I ride in a Cowboy Tack saddle, my daughter a Double J Lynn McKenzie Special. Take the time to feel the leather, study the workmanship and sit on a high quality saddle and you will be able to make up your own mind.

Horse, I have looked at the pictures of your horse and costume. I think I would love the look of the black on your gorgeous horse!

Terrible experience! First saddle broke first ride. Replacement received and was acceptable. Purchased a second saddle that had a huge burn mark and patch on it. Sent both saddles back and waiting on a refund. Still waiting for the refund

well that's all for drill team.

My costume is blue and black and I use paints and cremellos for trick riding
