What color should i use on my gelding?!

I try to ride all my horses in different colored tack (blankets, boots, ect) so I can keep them all organized. I've got a red gelding im trying to pick a color for. Id prefer not a girly color on him as he's not a very girly horse. He's thick and super stocky. I've already got Turquiose, Blue, and Purple on my others but I refuse to put him in green or red as I hate the christmas themed colors thing on him. What color am I missing?! Theres GOT to be a color that looks good on him!

Yellow, orange, black, maroon, grey

Baby blue, yellow, white or zebra would work.

Warm colors on red horses don't usually work. I would go with a nice hunter green. No one will think of Christmas.

I really don't want to use hot colors on him. I used blue on him for a little while but I LOVE my colt in blue so they traded. I personally hate him in hunter green. Even if others don't think Christmas I will. I halfway considered a lime green or a mintish green but mint is apparently SUPER hard to find tack in...

Then I would go with black. You've already ruled out all the colors, lol.

I looked at white too but good lord keeping that clean would be terrible!

What about black with green trim?

If you can find it, I think he would look lovely. =]

This is a chart from Hobby Horse that helps with which colors look best. When I look for colors, I want one that pops. I want to the combination of the horse's coat color and the tack color to be as eye catching as possible. For example, my mini donkey Apache is pretty much all white and his color is royal blue because it pops out and makes you look at him. I think he would look nice in chocolate brown, a creamish color, or burgundy.
