what colour tack for my mare?

Hey, im planning on going out and buying some new gear (English) for my dark brown mare Lexi, and am looking for some imput as to what colour leather would look good on her.

Also looking for a new colour for gear like saddle blankets, halters etc as i have navy blue things but a fun colour would be cool aswell.

Will load photos of her tomorrow as I dont have pics on this computer but heres a link to a horse with near identical colouring http://www.google.co.nz/imgres?imgur...:0&tx=75&ty=29

Bonus if u can put up a pic of a horse in the colour u suggested

I always liked the dark leather or black saddle and then a neon pink or bright blue saddle pad plus whatever color saddle pad should match the leg wraps/braces etc. and heatstall/bridle/halter :) or animals prints :)

sorry i couldnt find any good pictures on it :(

I think that making sure that the tack is good quality and fits well is more important then the colour.

Dressage riders use both black and brown saddles, with black being the more predominate it seems.

Hunters also use black or brown saddles, but brown is more common--be it light, medium or dark tones.
