What do you prefer? (wither relief pads)

I need to buy my own wither relief pad so I don't have to rely on my trainer's pads. I really like the felt or wool ones, but dover has the fleece ones on sale right now, so I'm wondering how they stack up next to the wool ones. Is it going to squish down, or will it give the same thickness as the wool ones? I want something with a little breathability which is why I am staying away from the rubber or plasticy type ones.
