I'm looking for a saddle for my 8 year old daughter, and while I had previously decided on a 13" in my other thread, they are very hard to come by in my price range. So I came across this saddle, an older 14". I'm not opposed to older saddles, I would actually prefer one since my daughter is just starting out, won't be doing anything heavy, and who knows if riding will even stick.
So the guy selling acquired the saddle in a storage locker auction, so he doesn't know anything about it, and THINKS he measured it right. He only lives 10 min from me so I figured it was worth looking and measuring myself. The only thing that sticks out to me is the left stirrup looks way let out, while the other is not, so don't know if it's somehow damaged. Other than that I don't have a great eye for telling how cheap a saddle looks from a picture. There is a cinch attached so I'm guessing it was being used.
What do y'all think? Is it worth looking at.
