What do you think of these field boots

I want to ask my mom to get me a pair of Devon air Hampton back zip field boots for Christmas. (Right now I have tall rubber boots, blech) They're $170 at the tack shop at my barn. Does anyone wear these boots? I want to make sure they're worth getting. I'm definitely going to try them on before I get them, if I get them.

Are they a good deal?

I have a pair of Devon Aire L'Cordes and I really like the leather on them. Not sure if the Hamptons have the same leather, but probably. Anyways, the leather broke in very quickly and now just shapes to my leg perfectly! The soles are just the glued-on, rubber type, but I only use these boots for show, so it's not like they're going to get worn out!

Good plan to try them on first...and make sure they're "the perfect boots" before buying them. Otherwise you'll just end up dropping another 200 bucks on something else and having to sell your "used once" Hamptons on eBay for $50.
