What helmet should I wear?

I think good riders care more about keeping your head intact, and riding good then what you look at. The fact that they are olympians is just more of a reason to go for comfort. They shouldn't be shallow enough to look down on you if you were wearing a bright pink, feather covered, rhinestone encrusted helmet. As long as you rode good.

It isn't what you wear, it is about how you ride. They'll see your riding performance right away, far before they look at what you have on your head. They'll beable to tell what level of rider you are asap, and if you are or are not compatable with the mount in question - that's what they'll judge you on, NOT what is on your head.

Make sure you get lots of pictures when you go to the O'Connors Olympic Barn.

The o'conners have a barn about 30 minutes from me... (I've been past it but never to it...)

Yes eventerdrew she is an event rider. And I will be getting TONS of pics and vids, reminds me, have to empty camera memory card...

The O'Connors & my barn have a really good relationship, and from what I can tell, they seem like pretty down-to-earth people. I've never met Karen, but I met David once when he was out at our farm, & he was a really nice guy. Quite nerve wracking to have him sit in & watch my lesson though lol
