this is an All Purpose Saddle, it was developed to allow riders to use one saddle both over fences and on the flat.

If you're tired of daily dull work, then go horse riding.

No idea, but Kitty in the left corner of the picture seems to have quite the stink eye.

saddle pad

My new saddle pictured above is in need of a square saddle pad. the one I used at the barn today fit weird. I wanted the attach the billet strap and the girth strap that are on the pad so it would not slide around. when i placed my saddle on the pad and bump pad (school horse requirement) the billet strap was to long. it was the slip on kind not velcro. the girth strap was to far back from where my billet straps lay.

I want to know if was my tacking up, the type of saddle pad, or the shape of the saddle.

when i finished my lesson the pad slide back and the saddle moved back as well. I did go out and buy a no slip pad that goes directly on the horses back to insure this will not happen again.

if it is a saddle pad issue please provide pictures or types of pads I should be looking for. thank you
