    Until this past summer when I started riding my cremello, I used this girth on every horse with no problem.

    This summer was exceptionally hot and since he was just starting to be ridden, I noticed it galled him a little. Not even a sore, and he didn't act like it bothered him but it bothered me, so I swicthed to the Weaver below. No further problems and I'm feeling a lot better.

    Thanks so much, I am currently looking to buy a 100% mohair cinch, now I just need to figure out the right size! Let's say I put 30'' cinches on my mare would I need to buy a 28'' mohair cinch? Because i've read they stretch a little and expand with the horse's movements

    An inch or two isnt going to make any difference, adjust it up or down a notch on the off billet.
