What were you thinking?!

I was flipping through a supplier catalogue yesterday and took a close look at some of the bits they offer.
I can honestly say this is the worst bit I think I've ever seen...

Yep. The mouthpiece is the same as that of a screwdriver; sharp edges and all.

I saw that one when I was looking for a western snaffle. I can't imagine using that. I also so one that looked like a bicycle chain.

That just goes to show the ignorance of people. That is just horrible, I have cut my fingers on screws before so I can only imagine what it would do to a poor horse's sensative mouth. }:(

Oh wow... I am disapointed in Rod's for even carrying that bit. Twisted wire is bad enough! If you have to use a "screw" bit, then I'd say you need to give up that horse to someone else and move on...
