what are your thoughts on this riding helmet?

I ride western, but I think it's too unsafe to ride without a helmet and I have never owned one before so I am doing a lot of research before I purchase. I really like this one, anyone else have a favorite?

I prefer Torxel helmets. My daughter and husband like the fit of International (IRH) helmets. I have not seen the lami-cell in person, so I can't tell you about that one. It's really best if you can try them on as everyone's head is a bit different . I am a western rider too, as is my husband, and we both wear helmets always. It's the smart thing to do!

Really nice! Black is better looking in my opinion :)
I think you should see if your tack shop has it in first though so that they can fit you correctly.

That is a nice looking helmet! But "feel and fit" are the more important things. I like Tipperary.

That's a nice helmet! I think you should go try it on though, I am also helmet-searching and I had a helmet that I thought was my dream helmet, I tried it on and it looked like a huge basketball on my head... So go to your local store and just try on some random stuff!

I confess I wouldn't wear the earlier helmets with the little pads as they were so hot and uncomfortable. They've come a long way. The dial-adjust means a good fit for everyone and comfortable and somewhat cooler with the addition of more vents. Now I wear one all the time.
