This is the kind of stuff I like, though I’d go for at least 5mm rather than this one. It lasts forever, I use it for training and for a halter to put under a bridle if I ride with a bridle (I consider leading a horse by the bridle reigns a mortal sin) given that its light and not bulky. For more general kinds of things I’d use a webbing halter.
We had kids learn to tie halters through 4-H and I shopped around for bulk rope. Our local co-op farm/hardware store was where I ended up buying it.
I also found some at TSC, Wal-Mart and a bunch of local farm stores. All depends on what diameter you want and whether you are picky in regards to color. Posted via Mobile Device
