i'm looking for this bridle since three weeks and i had found something like this:
photo from article: http://emscat.revues.org/docannexe/image/1552/img-18.jpg
(not the same bridle but similar type)
The harness and bridle features are made of narrow double leather straps, which are threaded through tricuspid eyelets of plaques or braided with one another (fig. 15). The straps are reinforced (and decorated) with metal open-ended rings. The decorative style of this equipment is characterized by metal elements only partially covering the surface.
(quote from Riding horse tack among the cattle-breeders of Central Asia and Southern Siberia in the first and second millennia CE )

so probably it isn't a rope but leather straps

If i'm right - the photo from previous post was made on Siberia(?) anyone from Russia here?
I'm also thinking about find someone who can made it 'on request' here (in Poland) but i'm afraid that i'll lose a lot of money and recive something dramatically different than what i want :?

Sorry for the stupid question, but what is Tuwa Republic??

If you really want similar bridle, I'd recommend to contact the shops in Russia making them (last 2 links in my previous post). You can then explain what you want and negotiate the price (if you speak Russian, of course, I doubt too many people down there speak English :) ).
