Where to find affordable cavesson

I've been browsing the web trying to find an affordable leather cavesson for my horse. I want one with three rings that is just leather and that is affordable. I like the one Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling uses during his beach ride on the black horse and want to find one like that.
The reason I'm looking for this kind of riding tool is because I've noticed some issues with using bits with my horse. I let someone lease out my horse for a couple months this summer and without consulting me she started using a twisted wire bit in my horse's tender mouth. Now he refuses bits and acts up every time one is in his mouth. When I ride him in just a halter he does fine, but I'd like a little more communication than just a nylon halter when I go on trails. I've tried snaffles and other types of bits and I want to get away from bits all together. So if anyone has any suggestions or information on a bitless (I don't want a hackamore either) bridles or halters that can be used for riding I'd be interested. I'm on a budget so I have to find one within that criteria too.

I don't think it's a cavesson you are looking for, a sidepull maybe a good choice

Lots of styles and price points, I ride in one in the winter when it is to cold for bits and my guys go nicely in them.

I just want a nice halter to ride in really. I like the idea of the rings closer to the top for better control. What does a sidepull do?
