I show mostly breed shows and local shows in western events. I sort of understand wanting to match, but part of the fun of showing for me is setting myself apart and finding a way to stand out. Plus I understand the concerns about different brands fitting different people.

...but I guess you have to do what they say if you want to show, and now you have an excuse to go shopping...I would definitely agree with the above - shop used or borrow.

lol i totally own everything on that list....................... and then some

but i can honestly say i do use all of those items
and it is better to cash in for some quality items then buy cheap-o ones, then dealing with having them break and re-purchasing them.

I think describing the exact brand names is a little excessive and also I would not use shipping boots, I'd wrap their legs for trailering but other than that yes, it's pretty standard. It also seems to include some schooling tack as well that you probably already have. If it gets super expensive, try buying some things cheaper. Instead of a Charles Owen helmet, get an IRH. They're perfectly acceptable for 'A' shows and they're a lot cheaper. And 'Grand Prix' sells some nice breeches that are cheaper than the Tailords.
