Why do ponies have all the fun?

WeatherBeeta Orican Pony Turnout Sheet - Dover Saddlery.

I really want one, but my horse needs an 84 inch sheet! I think this would be so much fun

Oh, come on, it could be worse. You could have a draft. I have a feeling there's nothing fun that fits them!

They DO have all the fun!!! Although I have found that Saxon makes some cute plaids for horses (from horse.com) Take the one I just got Sandie, for example - red/green plaid...and I also have the blue/purple plaid!

AND they can wear all the really cute and often gaudy tack and get away with it too. Now if I were to show up in a pink saddle you better believe I would getting more snickers than awhs.

This thread has made my day.
I always complain about things being made all cute for ponies but never for the big horses... I love lime green and hot pink... and wish to be cruel and put my horse in them... sure you can get baby pink here (New Zealand) in cob and hack sizes... but never lime green... only for the ponies/minis and namely just halters/leads. Drives me bonkers. A few months ago in our nationwide magazine, there was an ad for Horze equipment, a UK supplier that was new to NZ... and it showed two ponies, one in pink and one in lime... needless to say it made me annoyed lol.

Just went searching so I could share here... and found the link to Horze. (www.horze.com) They are now doing rugs that are really quite nice (some aren't to my tastes)... just a shame they're quite expensive for my budget... lets hope someone comes up with the clever idea to start making colours that can be used on horses too and don't cost the earth!

Jewel just came out with a brown blanket( with pink lining around it!) and baby blue polka dots! Haha I got it for my horse, and I must say, as much teasing I get from everybody... I can pick out which horse is mine from a mile away!! Haha

I'm lucky, Lacey wears a 68 so she can fit into most cute pony blankets. Heehee
I feel your pain though, when I was blanket shopping for her there was the cutest pony blanket I had ever, ever seen in my life, but all the 68-69ish ones were sold out. They had all the other pony sizes, just not the one I needed. >.<

However, I found Lacey a super cute one in her size so I'm not complaining. And this one comes in horse sizes! It's a WeatherBeeta Landa Freestyle somethin':
