Wintec all purpose english saddle

Anyone ride in a Wintec? I'm probably going to buy the all purpose english for me this year, but I'd just thought I'd ask you guys for your opinions.

They don't work for me. A lot of people seem to like them though.

My sis has one and it's relatively comfy, although i do prefer a leather saddle but it's good value for money (in the UK anyway).

I just find them to be too narrow. I've ridden in three, and I always felt like I was straddling a fencepost.

I sat in one at the saddle shop (an all purpose) and it I like it. I like the endurance saddle, but it felt like my feet were too far forward. I like the synthetic for a change. My western is all leather, and that's more than enough leather for me to take care of! lol.

Have you hugged your horse today?

Yes, wintics are great! I have 3 of them as trianing saddles for my girls. They compete in bates range of saddles. But yes wintecs synthetic all purposes are easy to look after, clean, very comfy and don't give horses back problems! They are fairly cheap to!!

I got the wintec 500 a few years ago and I love it!! There are many upsides to haveing a wintec:
1. just hose it down to clean it
2. changable gullets
3.i haven't noticed too much fadeing on the saddle

I got 500 A/P couple months back. I like it and it fits my horse well. However I should of go for 250 A/P (don't use the "change gullet" feature anyway). Though my horse still growing, so who knows...
