Wintec saddle material

What EXACTLY are wintec saddles made out of? I know equileather but what is THAT made of? ?

I think some cow's skin is pretty gross. So pick your poison. The stuff that leather is treated with to keep it from rotting like normal flesh is pretty nasty too.

Inside a Wintec Cair saddle you will find these...and hard cotton wool like lumps of flocking.


Nice junction!

and just a bit of foam inside the plastic bags

They were uneven on my saddle:gasp:
Except my saddle is now flocked like this...

and my saddler put this bit back on it


I found it interesting. :)

Without taking the time to specifically research the exact components- its a plastic imitation leather, kind of a pleather. Man made leather, in other words.
