Wintec saddle!!! Please tell me what you think...(urgent):-)

Well it's a 17" seat with a medium width tree. No cair package. It's about 10 or 11 yrs old. It's never been abused. To wash all's I do is toss in the tub and hose it down, soap it up, and rise off. The girth needs to be cleaned which I would do prior to shipping. The girth is a 34". I am the original owner. I've used it for basic dressage and jumping up to 2'6" and I love it but it just doesn't fit my horse anymore. The bridle I bought off of a girl last year. She said she never used it and it had been sitting in her garage for years. It's a dark brown leather with tight woven nylon reins but they are leather at all buckles. I'd like $350 for the whole thing....saddle, sturrip leathers and irons, girth and bridle. You would have to pay shipping. Here is a link to some pics I took quickly. Sorry if some are a little blurry

If this saddle doesn't have the cair and adjustable gullet, you can't be assured of optimum fit for your boy. Unless you've used a medium wintec on him before, I would make sure that you can get a saddle on trial to assure fit before you finalize the sale.

Didn't get to see the photo, wasn't at that link.

I think the link doesn't work because it's colored. I will change it now. I'm not sure what you mean....

(edited)

Oh, you mean for me to find out if I can' try it? I'm not sure but if you'd like and it is necessary I will ask...

Well, I wouldn't want to spend 350 dollars on a saddle that ended up not fitting my horse:P Just make sure the seller either lets you try the saddle out first, or has a return policy if the saddle doesn't fit.

This Wintec seems overpriced for its age and the fact that it doesn't have CAIR or Adjustable Gullet. Compare prices with used Wintecs on eBay. Also, I hope you wouldn't be using the jointed Kimberwicke that is shown with the bridle.

In my opinion, I'm not a fan of "All Purpose" saddles. If you're doing dressage, get a dressage saddle. If you're jumping, get a jumping (or CC) saddle. Don't smoosh the two saddles together as one and then ride in something that only kind of works for each discipline.

For 4-H shows there is no dressage. But there is equitation and pleasure plus jumping so I thought an All-Purpose would be best.........I need to know everything! Lol.

Please look on Ebay, there are several wintec saddles with the gullet kit and free shipping. The shipping on that will be a lot so be prepared. I don't know what size seat you need, I know english is measured different than western. Heres one
