Wintec Stock Saddle For Haflinger and 14.3 Welsh/Paint Cross

I have a Wintec Stock Saddle, which I love, but I am wondering if it is a good choice for my horses. I have been using it on my Haflinger, and now that my 4-year-old Welsh/Paint is old enough to ride, I need to have a saddle for him. The Welsh/Paint is 14.3 and has a slim build. The trainer is using an English saddle with a medium gullet on him. Of course, the Haflinger has a wider build, and I have the wide gullet in place for him. The strange thing is that I found white hair at the bottom of his mane where it reaches the wither. I can't see how the saddle could have possibly done that. It looks like there is no way it could touch his withers, but it has made me question the saddle fit. I am beginning to wonder if I should buy two separate saddles or just change the gullet on the Wintec. I appreciate any suggestions
