Problem resolved managed to pick up a Sharon Saare western with my parter putting a bit towards it and pretty close to perfect as was made for a chunky short backed cob type originally , still lifts slightly when I'm not onboard but only the rear skirt. The saddle makes contact the whole way along, and went for a good ride in it and even sweat marks. When I've got a bit more money in the spring I will get a saddler to double check it, but he seems very happy is able to move well and stretching over his back. Also with other saddles when he has been uncomfortable he swishes his tale where as he hasn't in this at all! So very happy. Thanks everyone for ur help.
