Winter blankets........should I invest in a new one?

Well when I bought Sonny I got a heavy weight/water proof winter blanket for him....but I'm not sure if that was too heavy for him.
I'm not sure if I should invest in a light-weight or a medium weight also.

The BO always puts on the blankets if the horses need it, or takes off them if it's really warm....but wasn't sure what would be best.

I've been thinking of getting a new one, but I don't know if I'd particually need one. Should I get one?

Does he get sweaty with the heavy blanket on?

If so, it might not be a bad idea to get a med. Weight one.

Just don't overwhelm your BO with a multitude of blankets!!

It's really up to you! :) I think if the one you have works, then use it. If it's too heavy (& making him sweat & such), I'd get a lighter one. They are always good to have around.
