Anyways, Hubby took me to a tack store about a 1/2 hour away from us, to look at their blankets - and they had some really nice one's. But far too expensive for my blood. They want $120.00 for just a basic sheet.
In a normal world, that would be fair, but with how much money I owe my vet and in need to save up for a saddle, that is way too much for me at this point in time.
I was going to get a cute plaid baby blue/navy blue cooler that was $55.00 and I thought "well I can try to waterproof my sheet again" but Hubby convinced me to look online.
So as we were driving home, I saw TSC's sign and asked Hubby to stop there for me because I remember they used to sell blankets. So we pulled in and I popped in.
I found their little puny selection and low and behold they had a blanket, not only Nelson's size - but in our colors *Navy Blue and Baby Blue* and, to boot, it's a Weatherbeeta.
The price tag was $99.00, so I looked at their other blankets *yucky colors* but they were cheaper *89.00 and one $79.00* but since I know the Manager quite well *I buy my feed from him all the time* and I asked him if I could get this Weatherbeeta *the $99.00* for the same price as the $79.00.
He said "SURE! Why not?! You are in here all the time buying stuff anyways"
