It resembles a Plantation Saddle.

Hope that you fall in love with "Trot", like I did! http://www.horseforum.com/general-of...queens-617793/

The picture angle looks off, so it may not be as bad as it appears.

Can't really read the plate, so I don't know which saddlery made it.

We had an oldie like that in the barn and we called it the "banana seat" saddle :) It is like a modern day cutback saddle seat (plantation style) saddle, just not cut back at the withers.

Looks kind of like an old polo saddle to me. Be a pretty good chance of that, being from England. And they used to have even wider flaps than they do now.

It looks like the saddle they used in the Black Beauty movie, lol.

Mostly had to comment because it looks like the OP is in my neck of the woods! I'm almost always browsing the forum on my phone, I don't often see the location and stats of other posters. We could be neighbors! Haha.

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I would chime in. :P
Although the ad has been removed by now, I believe the brand was K Mfg. Co. If you want to look it up. Their logo is very hard to read.
