Wraps - Shipping

I've always used polos for wrapping while trailering; but have read/heard they aren't the best choice.

So I was wondering what everybody recommends; shipping boots // polos // quilts [what kind...] and standing wraps // or something else...

So yeahh, just post what kind you prefer & a little reason why, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Hmm, I use quilted square pads under medicine wraps under shipping boots.

I used to just do shipping boots but I was worried he wasn't getting the right support. Then I went to quilted square pads under wraps but he started cutting himself so now I'm using everything.

Whenever I trailer, I don't use anything. I read a book, by some professional, can't recall which one, but she said it's too much of a hassle first off, secondly if you use polos, the velcro might come off and then the horse could step on it and get entangled.

I always use no-bow wraps and then put standing wraps or track wraps over top of those. I also use bell boots too sometimes.
