Talking you know you match!!

Okay so i'm an older rider and the team that i ride with is made up of older women as well (between 18-30). We don't have any young kids that ride with us so... when one of the girls has a helmet that matches their saddle pad, that matches their polo wraps, with gems/sparkly stones in their stirrups, they always get teased about it. So my question is... how many of you folks have the guilty pleasure of buying matching colored riding gear!??

by USEF standards, yes! i am practically ancient. however, for the purpose of this thread i was simply stating that there were no children riders that were more apt to have pink pads with pink polos and pink glitter hoof polish! haha!

I wouldn't use pink,.. but I would definitely do the matching thing and glitter, etc.

I got teased by my BOs daughter, who is the same age as I am because I have a bright purple halter and leadrope. The seat of my saddle is purple and the pad I'm currently using is purple (I don't actually own that one and the one I wanted was discontinued when I went to buy it).

Definitely a fan of purple.

Flash's "colour" is royal blue although the only things he has in that colour (so far) is a saddle pad and bell boots.

I used to try to make sure everything was hunter green, if possible, with Beau.

But now with 3 horses, it's amazing how much I don't care about color - I still opt for green if it's easily available; but my first decisions are based on availability & price now :)

I still lean towards green for Beau, purple for Daisy & Pink for Cav, but if it doesn't come in that color - oh well! guess they're getting red!
