Question you like this aussie saddle?

http://www.horse.com/item/down-under...-saddle/AKA26/

what are your thoughts?

My friend brought this saddle over this morning and I rode it on my gaited horse.... I LOVED it! It's just as stable as a western saddle but you are way more free to move! And not to mention it's like 1/4 the weight!

anyone got one for sale? Looking for a 17"

pic does not show. I only rode in an Aussie saddle once, the way it was made with the pommel slanted back hurt my thighs, and the leather for the stirrups pinched me.
I guess i had to large of thighs and i was not that fat back then .

Kimberly is a good brand. It's a very good 'nice quality cheap saddle.' Most down Under saddles are - the saddles they sell are usually pretty good. I'd say go for it - I have an Aussie and I LOVE it!

Edit: Sorry, I don't have one for sale - I didn't finish reading to see that that's what this thread was for lol. But I had to chime in that it's nice! Maybe try the T&E classifieds?

I have an older model Kimberly, all leather, & I've really come to enjoy it. Although I'm pretty sure mine might be too small for me :/ So maybe hit me up in a couple weeks I might have to list it again LOL. It'd break my heart because I love the tooling on the leather. *sigh* Plus I'm not a huge fan of the newer style. They just don't look as nice. If I'd get another one I'd go for what Shoebox got ;)

I'm selling my Syd Hill aussie saddle! It just happens to be a 17"

It does need a new over girth tho (which you can buy online for a decent price) so I'm selling it a bit cheaper. It is in excellent condition...cleaned and oiled regularly.

Here's an old thread with photos...I can't seem to find the pictures anywhere on my computer.
How much is my saddle worth?
