I only ride my horse in a treeless saddle. Treed saddles are now rather uncomfortable to me and they make him walk oddly. I've not had a problem with the saddle causing ouchy spots on him. We ride for 45 mins - 4 hours per day, 5-6 days a week.

I had a barefoot treeless saddle. I LOVED IT!...It was amazing and my horse was NEVER sore. I could mount from the ground just fine but I did prefer the mouting block as it's easier on their backs. My horse is hard to fit so when I got this she did great in it. I sadly sold it because I needed a barrel saddle which fits her pretty decent :)...not perfect as she needs a 7 inch gullet and QH bars. I just have an ESP pad.....If you are interested I can easily find you one. I got mine used for 425...I sold it for $500...they are very marketable if it doesnt work out for you.
