Hey all, I just picked this saddle up today on clearance at a sale for $45. I know next to nothing about huntseat style saddles. It has pretty much zero knee roll, which I think makes it a close contact. I want something for practicing my hunter style riding (been doing western and dressage for the past few years due to knee injury, short stirrups were just not going to work) and to possibly do smaller local shows with. It will be used on two TB's who are medium width with narrow to medium withers. One just came off the track and is still racing condition thin, the other is 22 and was an Amish buggy horse after he raced and I'm working on building up his topline (he has none). The tree is good, no holes/cuts in the leather, no stitching coming out. I have my fingers crossed that I got something decent that will hold up to light riding. Does anyone know anything about this brand? Thanks in advance for any help!
Zaldi saddles are made in Spain - still were last time I looked.
If you're using that on TBs, since it's got a non-adjustable close-contact panel you'll probably need plenty of padding under the front. Tree shape should be reasonably okay, though :)
