I haven't used either.
However, the first is a Weatherbeeta and I'm a huge Weatherbeeta fan.
Weatherbeeta's generally fit my round, low withered Arab perfectly (she's built like a more refined sort of "bulldog"-y QH) and they hold up pretty well too. She's not sure rough on blankets but still, all of her Weatherbeetas (4) are in their 3-4th year with us and still going strong.

My singular complaint is that 3 years ago I got the cheapest Weatherbeeta I could find (so probably my own fault) and last year one of the rear leg strap clips snapped in the place where the clip attaches to the blanket. I was able to just use it and clip it differently but about a week ago, the clip itself snapped.
But it's just that clip and the blanket is 3 years old and it was the cheapest one I could still pretty good, imo.

I've actually been considering that first blanket's just SO cute...and now that that strap is really broken on Lacey's "new" (hahaha, the 3 year old one) MW, I guess she probbbbaly needs a new MW, right?

I prefer blankets that have a 1200D. Have you looked into schneiders blankets at Their blankets hold up really well and are very reasonably priced.
