Free Spirit Saddlery stirrup leathers

I just bought a pair of these online, and they arrived today. 12 days from the UK to Australia ain't bad! Didn't buy direct from FSS, but the ebay store I got them from was wonderful to deal with. I will be going back.

I am impressed. Paid about 30 pounds plus 8.50 for shipping [international airmail, could have taken a cheaper shipping option had I wanted to]... with the Aussie dollar as strong as it is, that worked out to be less than AU$60.

WELL. The leather is BEAUTIFUL, the web core is strong and the stitching tidy. The quality is on par with, in fact better IMO than, Bates double stitched web core leathers, which retail for something like AU$120. Plus shipping. I don't have a tack store within reasonable driving distance so I buy most of my stuff online and have it posted.

Now I want a matching FSS bridle, and leather girth if they make them, and reins, and... I could really go overboard here!

Anybody else had good dealings with Free Spirit Saddlery gear?
