M. Tolouse Saddle Advice

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a new saddle for my tiny TB. She's about 15.3 but is really narrow and the only english saddle I have is too wide for her at the moment. She takes a 52 girth and has really prominent withers.

It gets used for lessons every week and it fits a wide variety of horses. Obviously I'd check to make sure it fit my horse before I bought it.

Awhile back, the same model was for sale at Big Dee's for 700. It was completely new and I could probably order it in any size/any tree size and get like a 10 year guarentee on it.

Are all of these good prices for m. Tolouses? I see them in magazines brand new selling for like 1000 and up. Are there any problems with m. Tolouses and whatnot?

If she has really prominent withers, I would be very careful with the Toulouses. Oftentimes, there's simply not a lot of clearance in them. With Toulouse leather (at least with the newer ones), you'll either love or hate the grippiness of it. However, they're very nice saddles and I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of the used Celine I just bought.

I have MT Claudine and really like it. I don't recall I've heard there is anything wrong with MTs. For the price they are very decent saddles. BTW, you can get brand new one cheaper in some stores (like Classic Saddlery).
