Ogilvy half pads?

What do you guys think about the Ogilvy half pads?
My horse's saddle is not custom, and it does fit her well but it does have room to improve- she currently uses a thinner gel pad underneath, however she does get very sweaty in that area as gel does not really breathe.
I've heard nothing but good things about the ogilvy (on other online forums, etc), however none of my friends have an ogilvy pad that I can try riding in first before I purchase one online, as it is a pretty large investment.
Does it improve with lower back pain?
How is it better for the horses/saddle fit?
Thank you!

I completely love mine! Not only does it make you feel like you're riding on a cloud, but you can personalize it in any color you would like. And if your saddle doesn't fit 100% it fills in all the little nooks n crannies. Highly recommended!

I have an ogilvy half pad, and it's great if your saddle is a bit too wide or something like that, though it does nothing if the saddle is a bit too narrow. The pad will compress in areas, and it does lessen any pressure points, but still make sure it doesn't cause any extra problems. If you add more bulk under an already tight fitting saddle, it will only cause extra pressure ( if you have a shoe that's a bit too small, does adding extra socks help?).

So! They are very nice pads, and if they work for the saddle you have I think you'll have some good luck with it. When in doubt, you could ask a saddle fitter what they would recommend
