EDIT: Those look almost raw in the picture o.o But I promise the underside was totally brown.... and I ate one so I know they're cooked all the way through.

:'D Pretty good as far as horse cookies go, LOL. Don't think I'll be eating a second though! Carrots are nasty after being cooked, to me anyway..

They did smell great, didn't they? I couldn't resist trying one after I pulled them out of the oven.

I will be baking up a batch tonight. I only have sorghum molasses, not sure what the difference is between that and regular molasses.

So I'll probably be a little suck up and make some of these for my BO and the boarders there.
Thanks for the recipe!

Glad everyone likes them! You can play around with the recipe, too. I added the extra salt because my horses haven't been licking their blocks...

I should have added that aluminum foil on the pan does wonders. No mess, no cleaning!

Next time I make them I'm going to reduce the salt. I should have recorded my horses' reactions when I gave them a couple of treats (I made very small balls). They both did a head bob for a few seconds and then started to act like they were gagging! Mouth wide open and tongue out. So I gave them another cookie to make sure they actually liked them. No problem. But it sure was funny to watch them!
