Unhappy 10 year old kicked in mouth by a pony

I was talking to my friend and she said while her and some other adults were in a pasture putting a barn together one of her friends 10 year old was out in the pasture with them too and while no one was looking a pony kicked her right in the face.
I guess she broke both her jaws in 2 places I believe, knocked some teeth out and moved others. She will is on a liquid diet for 12 weeks and if they have to do surgery on the teeth it could be another 12 weeks. They were going to see an ortho to find out if braces will move the teeth back.
Just please keep the little girl in your prayers, this is a long recovery and lots of pain.
Thanks, I just wanted to share, it was really sad to hear today.

Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
I have multiple friends in the horse community who have taken dangerous kicks to the temple. I also know of a very successful horsewoman who was kicked in the stomach at 7 months pregnant. All recovered well, extending the same good luck vibes to the girl :)
