15 yearold saves 25 horses from burning barn.

Found this on youtube, searched and did not find a previous thread.

The story is from last year but this girl deserves a medal.

Incredibly brave girl

Sometimes I wrestle with my demons. Sometimes we just snuggle.

The 16 is sad, but to think it could have been 41.

No doubt she is one outstanding young lady.

Part of me says she is very brave for what she did. But the other part of me says a horse is replaceable but your own life isn't, as awful as it sounds. Very risky.

What an exceptional young lady, but can you imagine being Dad and telling her not to go in there, and then allowing her to. Why didn't he go in, and keep her outside?

People these days, I wonder. No child of mine would have gone in there.

What a brave girl!

Are fire escapes for horses considered in the planning of these big barns? Could they be improved? Only asking as I have never been to one or know the set up.

Amazing. Upsetting, though, that her stepfather was there while she was saving all those horses by herself and didn't go in with her.

I don't think so, especially. People take measures with water, fire extinguishers, halters at doors etc, but I think that's about the norm, and the extent.

Ha, I didn't see this when I posted mine. Should have just written, "What Alex said!"
