People are so horrid at times...thank God they found their way to you!! Hey, isn't your dental appt the 11th? Hope I am not horribly mixing you up with someone else's situation! Ugh. How embarrassing if so...either way...hope someone is getting their dental work done soon...hahaha. Ugh! ;0)
Thanks B2HB, the weakest kitten is doing better, she's eating, drinking and actually playing with the others. I'm a little more optimistic about her chances now. And I don't understand it either apachie, My animals stay with me until they die of old age. I'll be posting pics in just a few more minutes hopefully. Yes it's me that's getting dental work on the 11th. I saved myself some money, one of the teeth that was going to be pulled came out by itself after I ate popcorn. I'm actually looking forward to getting the other one removed i'm tired of it hurting.

    I'm back!!

Sorry for worrying everyone! It's been a crazy week and not necessarily in a good way.

No new job yet and no emergency surgery on the gallbladder.

My MIL has been going through the house every day and getting more stuff out. She's gotten rid of a lot of stuff, which is a big thing for her. However, she's been making little digs at me constantly and makes mountains out of molehills constantly. It's driving me up the wall, but I can't say anything (to her or to Robert) or I'm being mean and rude. On Wednesday evening, they (My MIL, who we'll call C, and J) were at my house until 11pm. They were vacuuming at freaking 10:30pm. And Robert wouldn't say anything or ask them to leave. I was exhausted and angry, so I finally just went to bed. Then Robert was banging around in the kitchen after they left and I finally kind of blew up on him. I was tired, angry and my entire body hurt...and I just couldn't keep it in anymore.

Then there's work. Yesterday, my boss came to me at 9am, handed me his key to the filing cabinet (where they keep the used car packets that contain the extra keys and manuals) and said "I didn't sleep well last night, so I'm going home and sleeping for a few hours. You're in charge." I ended up being "in charge" (another name for being a babysitter to my coworkers) for seven hours. I was beyond exhausted. Then today, he did the same thing, but he left a coworker in charge who has been there a month or two longer than me. He's 19 and just doesn't have much leadership experience. So, that meant that he let everyone do whatever they wanted and slack off, which ended in everyone coming to me for direction and to get stuff done because D (my coworker that was put in charge) wouldn't do it. By the time I went on lunch at 2pm, I was just fed up with everything...and in a tangibly foul mood. Thankfully, by the time I got off, Robert called me and told me that we were going out to dinner. We went to my favorite restaurant, Bill's Grill, and had some amazing salmon (their specialty is burgers, which are truly spectacular, but I can eat much red meat).

On the gallbladder front, I'm becoming more and more limited on what I can eat and how much. Red meat, dairy of pretty much any kind, bacon...pretty much all the good stuff I like. My side aches after I eat and if I eat anything that doesn't agree with me, it just downright hurts. There are even some things that give me instant heartburn. Tonight, Robert was rubbing my back as we watched TV and he accidentally pressed right where my gallbladder is. It seriously felt like I had been stabbed right there.

So, anyway, that's my week in a nutshell. I'm hoping tomorrow I can get out to the barn and play with Aires a little. My goal is to be back riding him before Father's Day (which also happens to be our one year anniversary...we're hopefully are going to the Hualapai Mountains about four hours away for a family reunion that Robert's family has every year).

I'm so glad you're okay! And that MIL... I generally like almost everybody, and granted I haven't met her, but I don't like her! Or J. Hopefully next week will be better for you.

    Glad you're okay Paige!

Hope everyone is staying safe with the crazy storms. I just checked in and my house & barn are still there and horses still inside fences. 70 mph winds there last night and mega rain. Guess my front pasture looks like a lake.

Having fun on our mini vacation. M got a real taste of sticker shock at the American girl store. She got another doll and quite a few things for her. One of the outfits she bought was riding apparel, her doll is ready to rock in her new breeches, hunt coat & velvet dress cap.

Going to science & industry museum today. I can't wait to see the animal inside out exhibit. Will get lots of pics to share.

Omg guys, the Animal Inside Out exhibit was amazing. If any of you are remotely close to Chicago, go! German scientists figured out a way to "plastify" these animals without hides so you can see all of the muscles, tendons & ligaments, some were cross sections and could even see the organs, others the entire vascular systems, never seen anything as cool. No photography was allowed, the museum curator isn't even allowed to clean them - the lead scientist flies in from Germany to clean them! There was a horse, sheep, shark, elephant, giraffe, giant squid, a bull, reindeer, etc. Google it, definitely worth scoping out!
