Can't ever have too much tack! You never know when you'll have that one odd horse that you don't have one to fit right?

There's a lifetime worth of collecting here. My daily driver couldn't part with saddle (it's the one on the gate to the left) my mom had customed when I was a kid, is 25ish? Years old and feels like a second skin at this point lol.

I had a great day with the horses yesterday, I hadn't seen them in like three days, I've been having a backache and headache. King gave me a kiss and Cheyenne followed me all over like a dog. I'll be so glad when it's falltime, can't stand the heat lol.

I finally got out to ride Bandit yesterday, for the first time in a few months - arrive to find a significant cut (im thinkin puncture wound) under his face. Riding time turned into vet time :(

DD got out on Nod, both are going strong - DD even cantered over a jump!! OK, it was the smallest jump possible but it was still a jump eh?!

Paige - hows the job hunt goin?

I applied for a new job last week... I know the secretary leaving so she is going to put a good word in for me today! :) Keep your fingers crossed :)

Sorry to hear about Bandit :( Good for DD! Sounds like she's finding her confidence and doing quite well. Good luck on the new job!

A miracle occurred here yesterday. I got 5 of MY OWN horses rode! Woot!

Well, I've put in 15 applications/resumes since Saturday. Two of them are positions that I'm very interested in (one is a dog trainer at PETsMART and the other is an aquatics specialist at Petco) and I'm going to go follow up on them today. I also have an application to turn in to be a communications specialist trainee (basically a 911 operator) for the city of Prescott today. That job would be perfect (starts at $16.20/hr as a trainee and goes up to $17.01/hr after six months).

Today I'm cleaning the house in the morning, then going and putting in some more applications this afternoon. I know that we just had a Harbor Freight store open up a couple of days ago and they're still hiring.

Dear mosquitos,

I am tired of being held captive inside my own home. Could you at least pretend to be a little bit offended by the bug repellant that is supposed to kill you but doesn't? That is all.

Wow. Amazing how one simple phone call can make you feel utterly overwhelmed.

Apparently Robert's mom is kicking us out. We have until the end of August to find another place to live.

Wow is right. What an evil witch. Perhaps your job hunt should now be focused far, far away from your mil...

She doesn't know I lost my job. But apparently she and Robert's brothers are starting to question him about how serious he is about me. Asking him if he's serious about marrying me and that sort of thing.
