Sorry to hear that HLL, sending prayers your way.
How would she know, MH?

I'm sorry, HLL. I'm sure your aunt will be fine!

The closest thing I have to a pic of me with ANY livestock, let alone a horse, is a pic of me feeding our neighbor's beef steers when I was seven (my parents got me a bale of cow hay for Christmas so I could feed the steers "real food" instead of ripping up tall grass/weeds and feeding it to them) and a pic of me posing with a semi-feral donkey at Tonto National Bridge Park when I was 6. Sucked having a dad who was severely allergic to pretty much all animals and parents who thought that horses were "just a phase" for me and didn't want to "waste money on lessons" when I'd "just get bored and quit." *sigh* Yep, horses were "just a phase" that's lasted almost three decades!

She wouldn't, at least I don't think she would. I have to whine and moan to even get her to come pick on me while I ride so chances of her reading on the forum are pretty slim so what the heck.

This is my favorite. With her first start to finish and heart horse, Libby.

With Libby several years later.

And this one makes me wish I was a toothpick like my mom, this shirt is hanging up in her closet. I would so wear it.

I just turned 30 two days ago. Although... I will admit to kicking and screaming as I was ushered into my 30's after I had a very serious talk with God about how I would like to just stop at 25. And yet, the years just kept coming. So here I am... the "30 something" thread!

Welcome Oxer! Happy belated birthday! Eh, 30s aren't too bad. When you hit 30 people think you are a grown up....I'm sure not telling anyone any different

Happy Birthday Oxer! I hit the mark at the end of Feb.

Wait... I'm meant to be a grow up?!?!? Hahahahaha, god if I can convince anybody of THAT I'll be sorted.

I was asked for ID a few months ago when trying to buy alcohol.... seriously?? Post children stretch marks should count as an ID card.

I'd love to go riding today, it's a stunning day over here and the sun is shining. Still cool but nice all the same - I've kicked the kids out to play while I watch Aintree. 6 years ago I missed watching the grand national because I was sat in the hospital waiting to have my oldest. They stuck me in a room by myself, with a radio that wouldnt stay on the station. I resorted to sitting on one of those large gym balls, and trying to watch the race through two sets of doors with tiny windows. The kicker? NOBODY was in the other room!

Hubby will be home later with buckets of paint to paint just about everything downstairs... dreading it! DD's birthday is next Sat - she is having a pony party. She's asked for a summer sheet for Nod, which I bought today although not in pink as requested because the grey one was 50% off. She also asked for her showing set to be pink this year, so I have ordered the new browband and button holes for my MIL. Can't wait on them to get here, they look FAB in the pics.
