Anyway, I hope the squirrel is doing fine. I always wanted a pet squirrel!!! I just don't have the guts to spend the money on one, after hearing that while they make great pets as babies, their wild instincts take over as adults, and then they aren't so fun lol.
Aforred: congratulations to your son! =)
So I scored a great deal yesterday. We got a trailer!
We only paid $1200 for it. It has a title and is registered and everything whee! It does need some welding of the frame at the very back, but we'll just take it to the guy we took the old trailer too, and it should not be very expensive. It is missing the upper padding stuff that goes along the wall of the stall on both sides, but as best as I can imagine, it's a $30 dollar or so fix. ;)
Anyway, I swear, I'm one day going to make Witch into burgers. She took off trotting back to the barn with me today from the road and wouldn't stop. I took her to the arena, and she was still being a *%^h, and started trotting, so I tried the whole "fine, you wanna trot? Trot then!" and did that until she was tired. She did calm down a bit, and I even got her to STAND STILL for a few minutes. I know I"m in lessons and all, but I am thinking more and more that Witch should go to a trainer for a refresher course. It's funny....she clearly likes and even obeys my husband much more...and it makes me vaguely want to strangle the both of them. A lot.
OH, and the BO's DH is going to be totally p*ssed about his lawn. =/ Oh well, I tried my best to obey his new signs.... You know what though? On the bright side, I got a good bit of a workout today! Yay to strengthening the core!!!!
Here's some pictures of Witch today, in the crossties:
